There's definitely some of that, but there's also the issue that there's not much reason to be against those folks as those folks tend not to do things that really impact on other groups in any reasonable fashion.

It's the same basic thing that they were doing for ages before with gay men where they'd make up accusations about all gay men being child molesters ignoring that often times the children being molested are girls and that a bunch of straight people molest both boys and girls.It's that sort of thinking that was the driving factor behind the brutal murder of Mathew Shepard back decades ago and the tactic is still in use.

I remember many years ago when Tasmania was on the cusp of changing it's anti-gay laws, there was a hall meeting type public forum, televised. One side of the hall was pro, the other anti, and the microphone was handed back and forth.

I'll never forget a young girl (maybe 12/13 yo) getting her hands on the microphone. She started ranting about how gays disgusted her, and how when she arrived and walked through the entrance, some gay man tried to proposition her. I remember thinking to myself, seriously, apart from the fact that on that night of nights the gays would have been on their best behavior, a gay MAN is unlikely to proposition a young female. Before 'grooming' was ever a meme, it was obvious these kids were being 'coached'.

No doubt. Racism, homophobia, ableism and elitism is taught. As Lucius Malfoy eruditely told his son, some wizards are better than others.

It doesn’t even surprise me. Maybe we should have separate, designated restrooms and changing areas for the MAGA crowd.

At the very least we should assume they're all sex pests and chase them out of normal people's litter boxes and change rooms.

A state senator here in Minnesota has just resigned after being arrested for trying to have sex with what he thought was a 16 year old girl. His arrest was made hours after he sponsored and introduced a bill in the State Senate to consider Trump Derangement Syndrome a mental illness.
