I prefer to be alone, too. This year, I have to go pick up my oldest brother's wife at the assisted living center and take her to the family dinner. 70 miles round trip to get her and 70 miles round trip to take her back.

As far as the meal, I intend to skip the turkey. My niece is cooking and she cares nothing about food safety. The turkey for tomorrow is sitting out on the counter thawing. She thinks that because she has gotten away with that a couple of times ago, there is no danger and she can do it again. So I will probably only eat some vegetables there and then fix something when I get back.

My NT sister and I are hoping a pair of paternal uncles don't show up tomorrow for Thanksgiving.

They don't call ahead of time, love being racists and sexists alongside
asking my NT sister if she has found herself a boyfriend.

The next time they visit, I'm going to stay out of the house regardless of what they say.

Did nothing for Thanksgiving

Just went for a walk and food Maxx

Did not talk to anyone yesterday
_______________

Today is black Friday . No work. No car. No "friends" or "family". Shivering in my Pigpen. Cold temperature.

Black Friday shopping at Old navy, nike, Nordstrom, rei, north face, Marshalls or ross

I'm just a loser. I could only carry so much merchandise on the bus. Nothing large, heavy or expensive

Bus scheduled once every 30 minutes but often bus doesn't come at all

Crowded stores

But black Friday sales

Don't like shopping for rags

Library closed today

Did you end up going shopping? Or you were just thinking about it? I agree that it is awkward to carry lots of bags on the bus.

I am sorry you have been cold.

Friday took the bus to old Navy. Six pairs of jeans for $147.

Saturday took bus and train to the mall.
Nike, $130, four bras
Columbia, three jackets $225

Everything expensive

Wasted more $$ than a reasonable amount, but kind of "needed" the merchandise. Just not urgently

Wow, clothes are terribly expensive. I understand the anxiety.

But, you need 'em.

Looks like you did well, buying necessary things without getting distracted. I'm really bad at that.

glad thanksgiving and the long weekend after that is over. for this year.

not looking forward to the time between christmas eve and new years day. way too many days.

really grateful it hasn't rained where i live, for a couple of weeks. and even when it rained, it was didn't rain hard or for a long time.

thankful thanksgiving is over for this year. (oxymoron)

do not enjoy clothes shopping, but if i postponed it then sooner or later, would still need more anyways.

new years eve and new years day alone

didn't talk to anyone today

didn't even take public transportation

nobody interacted with me today

two pairs of shoes wet from rain. put in front of fan to dry, but that takes a couple days. only got three dry pairs of shoes left, and plenty of rain forecasted upcoming. do not want to run out of dry shoes. not enough $$$ to waste on more shoes.
