Why do you assume mutual exclusivity, especially when you must know that both the Bible
and Christian orthodoxy ascribe to evil acts both man's and Satan's evils?
1. Satan tempts evil men within.
Then,
2. evil men fall for the temptation.

That's a very interesting point. But ultimately, who is the catalyst of an evil deed? Was it his own free will that set him on the path of sin, and then Satan corrupted him, or was Satan pulling him from the very beginning?

All people are born with sin nature. Our so-called "terrible-twos" give overwhelming testament to that,
even though there are endless other evidences for our natural desire to rebel.

Born with 'sin nature' or 'free choice'?? Is there a difference? And how do we have sin nature if we are created in God's image?

I personally think that 2 year olds are not sinning - it is a natural part of their development. They start out as infants programmed to scream for food or a clean diaper or warmth. Then their brain expands, and they naturally try screaming for candy in the store, or watching TV when the clock says it is bedtime. It takes a while for them to figure out that there are 'civilized' ways of behaving.

Not much better than Ragtime's poll - you left off Eric Clapton as a choice.

This is a genuine question. I thought that the point of Jesus dying on the cross was to remove original sin, so that people were then born as a blank slate. Please correct me if I'm wrong here.

Dagtime: Like your book of faery-tales and nonsense rhyme, you contradict youself everytime you open your mouth. You talk about God of love, free choice, God created evil and everyone being born sinners BS. Well if that's the case, and God DID create Satan, who supposedly became the tempter and master of evil, that obviously makes God the master of Hell, for which you, my hypocritical friend are bound, Doesn't it? Don't bother answering, it is a rhetorical question.

that's God, right there

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matt 4:4)

Man lives neither by bread nor the sun, but by the sheer force of God's will.

f**k god
I am doing a fine job surviving without him
what about all the people he lets die?
eg Holocost, WW1 and 2, the thing in Darfur there, the Crusades?

Satan killed them. And you're serving Satan.
You're serving the author of the Holocaust.

I worship the Universe, which includes all Suns and Moons. No 'God' there, however. Maybe he's hiding behind the toilet......

To us, there is no Satan; that's one of the first things I found out when I realised my beliefs. Whatever is up his bum causing all this angst is surely got his knickers in a tangle.
