August is almost half over. Soon the punks will be back in school.

I hope I dream tonight. I want something to write about in my dream journal.

I am concerned that by commenting on someone's post, there will be people that will feel left out?
I have noticed some of the neurotypical people I know will come up with a positive comment/compliment no matter what.
I understand why, but I question if it doesn't approach a lie. If anything positive said is true or not.
I know a neurodivergent person that always has something positive to say about everyone and everything, unless someone tells him "no." That's when I know that their praise may not be fully felt. I believe the positive comments are two fold.
First, it makes the person on the receiving end feel good.
Second, it makes the person saying it feel safe, because people one compliments are more likely to threat the source of the compliment more favorably.
Am I over thinking this? "Looking a gift horse in the mouth." (Those not familiar with that phrase, checking a gift horse's teeth for good health and shape.)
This says more about me than them. That is the only certainty I can take from this.

A liar knows they are not telling the truth. A bullshitter doesn't care if they're not telling the truth or not, they just want to evoke feeling so they're perceived as correct.

I was watching a couple of old Baby Huey cartoons, and I wondered what kind of chaos would ensue if he and Junyer Bear got together. Maybe a Death Battle.

I remember seeing Donavan Bailey win the gold medal for Canada in 1996. I came to realize that was 30 years ago. 30 years ago I was literally a 21 year old Mod. Linford Christie was disqualified from the race along with another sprinter. That was a blessing in disguise.
