For years I had thought Winnie-the-Pooh had mispronounced the word jaguar, but he was really pronouncing it the British way and not the Canadian or US way.

Of course, there is some debate up here about whether or not Pooh Bear is really British or Canadian.

So, there's a bunch of Discharge clone bands with names that start with Dis-

I wonder if we'll ever get a bunch of Converge and Coalesce clones with names like Combine, Conflate, Coincide, Cohere, Collinear Conjoin, etc.

I've noticed how much thinner hypodermic needles usually are now, even the ones the vet used to vaccinate my cat last month. He barely even seemed to notice them while he was eating the lickable treat the vet gave him. :)

I've seen old vintage medical equipment on Ebay, and the needles were super thick. I'll bet getting a shot felt like an armful of molten lava. Or a buttful 8O

My ears were pierced with a 4 gauge, which is bigger than anything sold as a syringe.

It was huge, I only went through with it because the piercer was my friend Jeff and I didn't want to wimp out.

For some reason I started thinking about an episode of The Flintstones I saw as a kid, where Fred and Barney had a lottery ticket that they were positive was a winner because it was "the lucky number". They didn't want their wives to know about the ticket because they were afraid Wilma and Betty would go on a spending spree. Fred wanted to keep the ticket hidden at his house but Barney said he'd give away where it was by talking in his sleep. Later, Fred decides to sneak into the Rubbles' house and take the ticket anyway. He tried searching under Barney's pillow while he was asleep, but it started to wake Barney up, so Fred started singing a lullaby, and then Barney said, "Good night, mommy.", possibly talking in his sleep. So Fred pretended to be Barney's mommy and asking him where he kept the ticket. Barney said, "It's in the kitchen, up on the shelf above the stove."

So, it's pretty ironic that Barney was worried Fred would give away where the ticket was hidden by talking in his sleep. It's been decades, but I finally saw the irony. I'm so smart and observant. And pigs have wings.

Also Fred actually took the ticket Betty and Wilma had hidden from them, and it turned out to be a winner while their husbands' ticket lost. Wilma and Betty then took their ticket back and went on their spending spree.
