I'm avoiding chocolate as much as possible, but the daughter and her husband of an acquaintance of my mom gave me and my NT sister lots of chocolates as Christmas presents, so I don't want to let mine go to waste.

I'm starting to see that you really have to be your own advocate when it comes to Doctors. Including getting rid of one when you feel like they aren't helping or listening. I am a "people pleaser" by nature. I generally avoid conflict when it comes to things like Doctors but I broke that last year after getting some bad treatment from an ER Doctor a couple months ago. It was the first time in my life I ever pushed back in a big way. I think I am getting ready to do that again with an Endocrinologist I have. My New Year's goal is to be more assertive in advocating for myself.

That's wonderful, Brian0787. I hope you put this resolution into practice with the endocrinologist.

I hope this means you'll be more comfortable and that you'll be able to sleep lying down.

Beware the NZ daisy stool.

Oh... I can't find a link to the story from last century.

It was a single leg milking stool that was prone to structural plastic seat failure.

I'll leave the rest to your imagination
