I found the necklace and bracelet the first guy I ever dated gave me. I thought they were lost forever. It’s made my day.

A cute story:

Me and my girlfriend were in a trip today; and she was the only Filipina among the sightseers.

There was this like 3-4 years old boy in the bus who cried occasionally but every time my GF looks at him he stops crying.

Then his mom came to us unexpectedly and told her jokingly “my son has a crush on you, he likes you” - the boy blushed and my GF was like “Awww”, she took a photo with him.

Aww, that’s sweet. Kids are so cute at that age.

You must feel a different love for different people

I struggle with this me but I think I'm learning about it more as I go along

I should take more notice of myself sometimes when it comes to matters of the heart

This seems like a wise sentiment.

I can differentiate a love towards a partner and a friend, but fail to express the latter.
I once had a situation I wanted to say my then friend I love him (as my friend, I felt no sexual drive towards him as I'm not homosexual)
But I f'd up wording and erm... It was funny "the other way".

My girlfriend just broke up with me and quickly backed out. This seems to be particularly common in China. Is it the same in Western countries?

From what I've seen on Reddit, I'd say yes.

Yes, it's just how most people behave like.

I'm not really the type of person who would remember anniversaries and things like that me

I don't forget on purpose but it's just not important to me and time flies by so quickly that it could be 6 weeks or 6 months or 6 years that have gone by

My ex always remembered but I reckon he was tricking me because I think he got notifications on his phone for things like that

I have very fond memories of going to see Iron Man at a drive-in. Maybe one of these days I should watch it and see what it’s about. Or not. I’m not usually into those sorts of movies.
