Perhaps it may be ignored, however it is certain to be ignored if there is no activity versus there is the slight chance of it being possibly considered if there is activity in the sample thread.

Its like we're labrats haha. But yeah, I guess so.

People have been treating others as labrats since the days of Freud or earlier, but yeah I suppose it could be an experiment.
So far my attempts at controversy have been met with civility, so I'm thinking that perhaps the members of the forum today are more civil than those from during The Great Flame War.

I suggested this before & women started calling me a misogynist because of it. For a group of people who complain about others judging em & treating em unfairly; We can be extremely judgmental & down-rite hateful towards the majority. Not having a Men's forum is a prefect example of how the minority discriminates against the majority here. This place is extremely hypocritical & I can see why some NTs hate us

You know, there's the key word here: hypocritical.
I just don't understand why Alex would find it so easy to remove the men's forum instead of simply having some good strong moderators to handle the forum fairly.
For most of us, we're not NT alpha males who have no problems with having good social lives and meeting women and courting them and acting like typical mature men with high value and status within society. We do have a right to a support forum in the same way as women have the right to having their own forum here. That's what gender equality is supposed to be about.
I still can't imagine how Alex is allowing feministic influences to rule the way he's handling this. As an Aspie man, he should be better than that.

What I find really messed-up is that women think having a men's forum is encouraging hatred towards women. If that is really true it seems logical to say that that a women's forum is causing hatred towards men. If that is not the case then men & women are really are that much different which is why we should have separate sections

To be honest, I don't know of any female here who thinks that way. Really, it's just Alex himself making things difficult for us (for some weirdass Aspie reason). A lot of other "general gender" forums that have a section for women also have one for men (and usually both are as active as each other).
By the way, I am also for a forum for Aspie parents. They deserve one too.

When I make a post that some women may not agree with; I am open to getting accused of being hateful. Getting accused of being hateful will cause hatred. I think a Men's forum is needed because I could express my opinions in safe section without getting attacked by women. I would start feeling better about things if hateful women would leave me the hell alone. It's one of the rezones I haven't been posting much lately; I don't want any drama. I'm not only talking about post; I've gotten PMs as well & some of those women are fairly popular & respected here so going to a mod probably won't do any good. I think those women really misunderstand some of my post. I'm not having any drama at the moment but I'm watching my back

Perhaps there has just been too much drama within the last month that even the trolls are getting tired of drama and regular members too.

Could be
I also want to add that I fully support the idea of an LGBT forum & I think that section is needed just as much as the men's & women's forums are. I might make more opinionated post there instead of going to the L&D section

I have a difficult time thinking that women on these boards would say you were being hateful unless you posted a broad sweeping generalization that was negative towards women. And THAT you would not find a safe place for in a men's forum, either, IF that is the sort of thing you are thinking of (if women were unfairly accusing you of being hateful, I would have hoped you reported it to a moderator). Women WILL read a men's forum on occassion, just as men sometimes read the women's, and straight people sometimes read the LBGT forum. Those not part of the focus group who enter should respect that they've entered someone else's space, of course, but it doesn't become a free for all for the focus group to say negative things about those not in the focus group. Which does leave me to wonder if that is what happened last time, and how flame wars got started ... I wasn't there, I don't know, but I see can it happening.

I do NOT think I was making broad sweeping generalizations. I do NOT think I ever 1ce said anything like all women or something. What happened is that a few women thought that the only rezone a guy would want a Men's section was so he could hate on women because the women believe that the Men's section encouraged hatred of women when WP had it before; I was NOT around then. Sense I strongly supported having a Men's section some women assumed that I must be a misogynist. After they thought I was a misogynist; they found faults with other things I've posted because they were looking at it from the idea that I was hateful when that was NOT my intent at all. Things calmed down a bit after mods got in the L&D section a while back & I threatened to to report a few members after who were PMing me because they disagreed with something I've said. I haven't had any problems recently but it really ticks me off that some women assume that the only rezone a guy would want a Men's section is because he's a misogynist. That's complete horse $h!t. I NEVER been accused of being hateful towards women offline or on any other site except WP. I think that such a negative judgmental attitude like is exactly why the Men's section is needed & if I'm a misogynist for wanting one; wouldn't it be better for my hatefully post to be contained in on section

It seems you had an unfortunate encounter with some hyper feminists. They can be quite horrible and hard to reason with. Sorry to hear about what you went through.

I'm not to bothered by it now. I may not be extremely popular here but I know most do NOT think of me as a bad person. That drama seems to have stopped.
Some think that having a Men's section will cause a lot of drama but I do not hear about a lot of drama going on in the Women's. I suspect that maybe the issue with having a Men's section is not that men would be abusing it like some have mentioned but rather some women will have issues with it & they may cause problems. BTW when I say some women; I am talking about a very small group of em; I think the majority of women here are nice & respectful. I hate when groups get judged because of a few bad eggs in em. I think if we could try to be less judgmental & could get learn to be respectful & could get along; a Men's section would not be an issue weather we had it or not. I'm going to let the issue drop now. I feel better after posting & letting frustration out
