Stoner but not a hippie.
I smoked weed daily as necessity to treat an undiagnosed anxiety.
Eventually the anxiety won and I dropped out to start in the working world early.
A side effect of being "the stoner" kid in class was that I found a clique for a while and found comfort of others that also enjoyed the occasional bong.
Only when I reached adulthood I learned about anxiety and the medications/therapies available,And traded weed for Benzos.
