How to fight boss in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword?

I don't feel like looking it up (or having my brother look it up) so can someone please tell me how to do the glitch in Lanayru that will enable me to bypass the "Song of the Hero" challenge and open up the boss rush mini-game?

I believe you're looking for the the Faron Woods Temple glitch. If you're playing on Switch, it won't work.

No I don't think so because my brother Josh specifically mentioned Lanayru Mine or Lanayru Mining Facility being the place where you would execute the glitch!! !

I am a little ways past Faron Woods Temple (Skyview Temple) and I'm not playing the game on Nintendo Switch

I intend to get the Switch version eventually but I have to beat the original Wii version first and I have MANY MANY MANY other games to get for my Switch before Skyward Sword HD...

I believe I found what you're looking for. It's one of a few sequence break glitches that will somehow give you access to a 100% complete save file if performed correctly. Youtube user Paraxade0 has a video demonstrating it. I'm not able to post it at the moment. Let's hope Nintendo didn't patch it. Some users are saying it doesn't really work, while those who've attempted the glitch say it may take multiple tries. All I can say is Good Luck.

It was performed at a recent "Games Done Quick" charity speed-running event so I'm pretty sure Nintendo didn't patch the glitch

I need help again!! !

In order to trigger the Fi cut-scene that allows access to the Boss Rush mini-game I must do many preliminary steps first like going to Faron Woods "back in time" which is accomplished by using a Stamina Fruit while in BiT state in Skyloft then quickly loading the other file while the cut-scene animation opening the rift to Eldin is playing

The problem is when I do Back in Time on File #2 it always defaults to File #3 which doesn't have the saved information of the Ruby Tablet carried over from File #2!

Did I do something wrong?!?
