I have made multiple accounts at non-forum places. There is no history of me doing so here though. I think slowmutant doesn't like both of us or something.

He hates Atheists.. We're apparently 'enemies of god' in his book. Oh well, not much of a loss he is as a friend I suppose.

There are worse than me by far though, I mean, I recently created a thread on "the possible nature of god". I mean, heck, perfect apologetics ground for any theist. And as Orwell has noted, I respect Christian theology above most and show more familiarity than a number of Christians.

Yes, you do. You probably know as much as a first or second year Bible major at a conservative college, which says a lot for your knowledge of theology compared to most Christians. I've studied Grudem's systematic theology, at least halfway that is.

Well from what I can tell slowmutant appears to be more extremist in his mindset, you obviously know this but most Christians don't see us as enemies or anything like that, just as we don't to them. I find it nice to have intellectual discussions or debates every once in a while but in reality we're not at war. In my experience anyway this is how it is, I know in a lot of places there's quite a bit of discrimination against Atheists.

Wow, that is relatively impressive then. Especially given that a bible major at a conservative college would likely have arrived with a good amount of knowledge on the book already.

I don't classify people by their religions. I have known Christians, Jews, Muslims who were good and decent and kind people and also intelligent. But there is something, to my point of view, wacky about religion. It stops people from thinking clearly and I don't like that.

I'm writing this comment before reading all the posts because the first one is very provoking. I agree that the "new testament" should be changed to the middle and the Torah and Qur'an should be 1st and 3rd. We need to dig up more of what Jesus said. Why is it that we only know of just a few incidents in his life? Biographies that were written before his time, and about less pivotal times and ideas, are more well documented than him. Why?

PS. Aefnord and Chevor...are you guys working for the government?

Qur'an contradicts far more than the New Testament can be accused of.

Regardless, they both contradict quite a bit, there are over 300 in the New Testament.

As for rewriting the Bible, I'm rather fond of this one:

Wow, I PM'd this 'Jesus_Christ' guy the day he joined up to the site. I thought it was funny that a user would sign up to this site with that user-name. I said "Hey Jesus, what's up?" He didn't PM me back. :(
