Something terrible happening to my kid.

How fussy are you about your sleeping arrangements?

Pretty fussy, I like a bit of peace and quiet overnight.

Same q

Extremely fussy. If I don't have a weighted blanket, a whitenoise machine, a fan, total silence, and a temperature no more than 20C, there's no chance of me sleeping.

Same q

I stress out about it before going to sleep in a new place. I do much better in cold and under blankets. I have a harddd time falling asleep with dirty/oily thighs. I have a need to snack in bed before falling asleep and I like to distract myself with something light on my phone to give my brain a break, sense of peace and validation. Despite all that, the moments before falling asleep have been the best part of my day since I can remember.

What is something you really like about autistic people?

That autistic people share a lot of the life experiences that are common in socially challenged people, such as loneliness, isolation, alienation and so on.

Do you like to be very warm or very cold?

Very warm.

What card games that you play with other people that you admit to being very good at playing?

None, really. I enjoy Texas Hold'em but I rarely get to play irl because its hard to find enough people who know how to play in the UK, or want to. So I'll occasionally play online for fake money. I'm competent but I wouldn't claim to be good.

What's the highest thing you're comfortable jumping off?

Comfortable: Probably anything up to 6 inches. Beyond that, it becomes a task. However, I would jump out of a prop plane and skydive anywhere up to 15k feet; it won't be comfortable though. The worst height would be somewhere around 10 storeys up since it's too high to survive, but too short of a trip to get comfortable in anyway. It will probably be that falling feeling the entire short time while I look at the ground rapidly arriving.

What's an interesting experience you've had attending a place of worship that doesn't follow your personal religious identity?

I saw an old-school Baptist preacher doing his thing. Fascinating. Very dramatic. Personally I thought the content was a load of rubbish, and would probably have become angry if I hadn't been quietly recording it to prove to myself later that I hadn't been dreaming and to play back to friends to find out what they thought. In a way it's a shame that ancient style of preaching is dying out.

Same question.

One of the three contested first Black Baptist churches in the USA. It was a blast and the preacher gave an important message with style.

If you can meet any three people that are currently alive today, who would they be, why, and what would you bring up for discussion?

Paul McCartney about how he really feels behind the charming feelgood persona he always projects in public.
Ringo Starr, don't know what subject, but I'd think of something if I knew I was going to meet him. Maybe something about playing the drums.
Liz Truss about what possessed her to praise such a smeghead as Trump.

Actually they're not hard and fast choices, I might change my mind if I thought of better answers.

Same question

Johnny Depp about all the rumors about him being on the spectrum.

Peter Morgan, don't know what about, but maybe something about how to write a good play.

Liz Cheney about how she will continue her fight against the scumbag Donald "Pumpkin" Trump.

What are some of the best autobiographies you have ever read?

I've never read any, they seem too much like self-appraisal to me, and I'm suspicious of that. Some of them are probably better than I expect them to be.

Same question.

Mark Everett (lead singer of Eels)'s autobiography, Things the Grandchildren Should Know was pretty amazing. A truly fascinating life, lots of tragedy but lots of joy too. His father Hugh Everett came up with the Many-worlds theory.

That's the only one I can think of.

Same q then.
