The Great Dolphin is curious: how can there be a double standard in a stance? Could dcj clarify what that means.. or possibly what a "double standard" is?

AP once read a little book called "Whale Insults" which talked about the insults whales supposedly gave each other. She doesn't know how accurate it was.

Skilpadde can tell her that it's pronounced kinda like this:

As is typical in Norwegian, 'ski' is pronounced like 'she', the 'a' is pronounced like the 'a' in father, and the 'e' like the 'e' in shell.

AP thinks that's very interesting. She always pronounced it in her head as "skill-pad", but now she knows how to really pronounce it.
