Ate all the good chocolates out of the Whitmans Sampler.
Damm, I’m bad.

In the past, I think I have probably misunderstood people and have exhibited bigotry, but only because I literally came from one of the poorest corners of the western European world.

Poverty breeds political ignorance, unfortunately.

I still have a way to go in judging things politically, I seek to improve myself to serve people and their needs in promoting disability rights & minority rights in general.

Life is a journey of learning.

I am deeply sorry to anyone I have offended recently. I sometimes don't have the energy for empathy as an Autistic person & lack judgement. I need to work on this.

Be kind to yourself, too :). We are forced to understand and empathize with a society of very different people. Then they tell us we are not social or empathetic, though they rarely understand us.

Life is a learning experience , and I am very sensitive to be people being offensive intentionally or not ,
And I do not think you have been offensive to anyone that I have noticed .

I often have to curb my politically incorrect humour (though my humour is incredibly broad as it is!), and often conservative views, despite flip-flopping and resembling a fence-sitter at times on the political scale.

I think you've just described the typical enlightened centrist who wants to be understood as 'being on the fence' but will always side with the more conservative position no matter what.

Not always. For me, I'm a strong advocate of welfare rights, which in my country, puts you on the left.

My ideals draw from both sides, but because there are some conservative ideals, for some reason, there's that presumption that it must mean that I don't care for anything from the left.

If anything, I'm misunderstood and misplaced as a fence sitter. Far from neutral, but also far from correct. I often wish I could have healthy debates without it resorting into name calling or death threats, despite showing no sign of malice or bigotry from my side.

I miss California woman, my first love - and I have missed her for ten years!

My obstacle now seems to be weakening...
