Surely, you are entitled to think that homosexuality is sinful.
Does your thinking so mean that gay people should be locked up in jail, deprived of a means of supporting themselves, made to wear pink stars on their sleeves?
How do you not tolerate something that does not personally affect you?
Good point. I think that for most people, not tolerating something means disagreeing with it, and then publicly setting about preventing it or indeed, abusing people who are that way inclined. And yes, I suppose I am entitled to see homosexuality as a sin, yet as far as I am aware, I do not.
