You know something is wrong with the world when Japan is more technologically advanced and more democratic than the country who taught it to be so (America).

Actually, it's been that way for a while. Whether technology or goverment concepts, it seems whatever we give to the Japanese, they make it ten times better and sell it back to us for twenty times the cost (in the case of the former).
