I my educated opinion this does not require intelligence to do and does not actually involve hacking somebody’s account. I don't think there was a cover up though it may or may not been intentional. It seems to happen when somebody sends a mail then subsequently changes it.

I choose not to post so much now for a lot of reasons.

You've been on the offensive. You've also been the one doing the majority of the provoking. Some of us, mod and normal user alike, have merely gotten tired of it.

So, now that Quatermass is on the list, who's next? janicka? Starbuline? Which mod will be the next to "abuse their powers?" I know you're not done accusing people yet, so why not go ahead and reveal the next person to be sucked into your witch hunt.

With a simple use of Google, 0_equals_true has likely solved the entire inbox "hacking" BS you've been whining about. As for when Alex will fix it for you? Nobody knows that. Why don't you get mad at him for not taking care of things, rather than those that don't even have the power to fix it?

If you have an issue with something a mod has done, why not bring it up calmly? You might be surprised, they might agree with your issue and change things back to how they were. The mods are also not some sort of hive-mind. If you bring the issue up, another one might agree with you and change it back, even if the first one does not. Or are all the mods supposed to be foxes in the henhouse? Oh, I suppose you would do a much better job. Alex should make you a mod, right?

On the other hand, you could throw a tantrum like a child and make the possibility of a civil and mature resolution nonexistent. That choice is up to you.

In looking at what 0_equals_true posted, simply having someone send you a PM could fix it. Hopefully you won't immediately assume a hacking attempt if you get a message from me that's merely an attempt to resolve that bug.

Am I on the mod list? I thought that would be easy enough for people to check if they wondered such things, it has worked for me when I've wondered if someone was a mod in the past. Should I link to it for you?

Even if it was done intentionally, it is merely exploiting a bug. Jumping to conclusions is a great way to needlessly alienate the wrong people.
