No can do. A landing party from the Enterprise vaporized it with a phaser by accident. No, I did NOT borrow it and blast the stupid thing myself after telling them it was alien parasite in disguise. Yes, I know that is a suspiciously specific denial, but it is true!

I want to turn in my artificial intelligence project... but it begs to differ.

I was going to do my homework, but I had a dream where I completed it and it was so realistic that I thought I already had.

On the plus side, at least I'm being more environmentally friendly this way by cutting down on my paper usage. After all, that's what you've been telling us to do, is it not?

If that were a plot for a film, I'd watch it. Super computer becomes insecure and questions its own intelligence as a programming student tries to reassure it in time for an upcoming deadline for a presentation showcasing their work. They go on an eye-opening wacky adventure together, and learn some unexpected lessons.

I found out that artificial intelligence was no match for my very real stupidity, so I gave up on the project and started something else. AI is definitely NOT my field.

I didn't see how it was of any educational value. The idea of school has been turned into a complete dictatorship in which rules are seen as more important than actual education. And anyway, the cat ate it.

I didn't do my homework because the author of the textbook doesn't explain anything other than his own awesomeness and a lecture is an ephemeral speech act, incapable of being revisited outside of the interpretive lens of memory or hastily scrawled notes.

I won the lottery and contracted a rocket scientist to do my homework until I graduate. What? You won't let me graduate? Then you made my rocket scientist's day.

The homework ate my dog, and has been taken away for questioning.

The people I hired to write my term paper were all deported.

The paper disintegrated.

It all became just a bunch of busywork, no real intellectual stretch and amounted to nothing more than a bunch of boring fill in the blanks and crossword puzzle type exercises. Boring.
