Trouble Posting Pictures

I dont know why, but I seem to be having issues with posting pictures on here. Any time I use ImageShack or Photo Bucket, I highlight the code for posting the picture on websites/forums then paste it on here. When I check the thread on this website to see my picture posted, its not there and all I get is the code.

Ive done it before on my Second Life thread, but I completely forget how I did it. Any help?

Sort of helpful. It still didnt tell me why posting the code for forums doesnt work on forums. Thanks anyway.

When typing in the box to post, you will see icons above for quoting, linking, photos, etc.. You can click on those and paste the http code into the scritped window or copy the example shown, when you place your cursor over the icon, into the text area and paste the http code over the sample code provided. If you are just pasting the code, it will not work without the brackets before and after the code.
