I'm sorry for bringing up an old topic, but I just have to say:

I got my tickets for the May 18th 11:59pm showing of Star Wars!! ! :D I am so excited!

I still remember going to the premier of Episode 4 like it was yesterday. I was 12 and was with my mother at her boyfriend's house. The movie hadn't been advertised at all, so when I opened up the newspaper and saw the advertisement I thought it would be a B-movie from the way Luke was standing there with the sabre over his head... We decided to go anyway, so they dropped us kids off at the theatre and went shopping while we watched the movie. I think I was about the 15th person in line. The theatre had no lobby to speak of, so we all stood out on the sidewalk leaning against the window of the store next door.

Anyway, word spread pretty fast. Within a few days the lineups were all the way down the block and around the corner. The newspaper made a fuss about a few fanatics who were competing to see who could watch it the most times in the theatre (at about $2.75 per showing in those days).

I love Star Wars. I really look forward to the new movie. I have seen episodes 1, 2 in theaters. Episodes 4, 5, 6 are my favorite, which were the best done.

I love star wars. More the universe as a hole thogh than enny individual film, allthogh they are all good films sepretly (episode 1 to a lesser extent). Ennyone else red the New Jedi Order books?

I like the 70's Star War the best. I truly liked JarJar Binks myself think he should had a bigger role, he made me laugh too.

I love star wars for the concept and how he created the universe, but the scripts always seem to suck.
