This game is similar in ways to the old What's My Line game show years ago---where a panel tried to guess a person's occupation/famous situation based on a beginning clue, and the panelists' questions which could only be answered by a "yes" or "no" response.

For this game you will be trying to answer Who am I? or What am I?

So for this game, I will start. I will be giving a clue about a person or thing. Then, you can ask questions that I will answer with (yes/no/maybe/sometimes). If no one can guess who I am, or what I am (could be a thing) after ten guesses, then I will reveal the answer. Whoever can guess who/what I am will then get to provide the next clue for their "who/what am I." Now, we need to be specific in certain cases with this game. So if the answer is "you are a president," you may need to be more specific such as, "you are President Lincoln." Or in the case of a what (thing), you might need to be more specific than just saying "you are a house." You might need to say, "You are the Biltmore Mansion." If no one can guess, then the person giving the clue can either provide another clue for another puzzle, or pass to another player of his/her choice.

So here it goes---and remember, your questions must be ones that can be answered with "yes," or "no.":

I can be found in the wilderness of West Virginia where I rest peacefully enjoying the beautiful solitude of the wilds of the Mountain State. I am famous and greatly respected, but because of what I harbor, few people visit me anymore. I was known as the most feared in the United States because of who/what I am. Even though I cost a young man his life in 1950 because of his lack of preparedness, I helped America win the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. I harbor deep secrets that many people wonder about, and in time, perhaps they will learn more about me. Who/What am I?

No, I am not a mountain.

But I do live amongst the mountains.

No, but very close. I am not by nature a mine, although mining took place here.

Yes, I am a cave.

Now all you have to do is figure out which cave in Pendleton County, West Virginia is considered one of the toughest caves in America, which cost a life in 1950, was used for saltpetre mining, and contains numerous pits. It features such famous rooms as the Big Room and the Thunderbolt Room.

No, but very close. It does begin with an "S." And another famous room inside is called the Hodag Room.

Thanks, Glider. I hope this is ok:

I am a native of Indonesia, a bustling and dynamic country in Southeast Asia. I am popular there. You will now also find me in other countries, especially in towns and cities, although only in particular venues. However, I am not generally well-known in Western countries, and many people do not appreciate me when we first meet. Don't judge me by my appearance- I may not look very attractive, but I have value. Who/what am I?
