You are perfectly right, my bad, most Belgians are Bi or Trilingual though...there is also a tiny German-speaking minority in the east of Wallonia

my grandmother there is one of those who insist Valencian language (=catalan) is NOT the same as catalan. my younger uncle there goes "pf, theyre the same."
in norway we got lots of very varied dialects too, but have more of a mocking/joking relation to them, a lot of parodies and stuff
