I saw the episode entitled "Trouble at Sea" last night. It was an easy mystery to solve. I thought Kitty and Pamela were cute though, I wonder how old their characters were?

I watched the tv series once, and quite enjoyed it, it does seem a bit tong in cheek sometimes though ( I saw the one where a group of rich young people were on holiday in the south of france)
as it was all quite steriotypical, and funny for that reason

Hercule Poirot is a fictional character, he does not exist...

Agatha Christie never went to Belgium (she studied in Paris though) ....If you are British or American, It's hard to tell a French from a Belgian, they speak the same language..:D

Hercule Poirot is a fictional character, he does not exist, just a stereotype about Belgian people...

Agatha Christie never went to Belgium (she studied in Paris though) ....If you are British or American, It's hard to tell a French from a Belgian, they speak the same language..:D

Poirot has a french accent, however you are perfectly right, my bad, most Belgians are Bi or Trilingual though...there is also a tiny German-speaking minority in the east of Wallonia

And they do not really get along with each other, or at least their politicians don't.

Thank you for the picture of "the Fred Astaire of karate.” :)

haha gotta love his hair too...... :D

every nation has their linguistic little issues tho, the spanish are fanatical about their regional identity, "you spanish?" "NO! Soy ANDALUZ! *clap clap clap!*"
my grandmother there is one of those who insist Valencian language (=catalan) is NOT the same as catalan. my younger uncle there goes "pf, theyre the same."

in norway we got lots of very varied dialects too, but have more of a mocking/joking relation to them, a lot of parodies and stuff

I have loved Poirot since I was a small child. Pure logic.

Indeed I do. I've never seen the show, but I love Agatha Christie's Poirot Books, and most of the computer games.
