Hey everyone, my name is Brandon and i'm 17 years old. I live in Burton , Michigan and I am currently a tattoo apprentice (currently becoming a tattoo artist) . I enjoy tattooing, drawing, writing and just about anything that keeps me occupied. Below the comment is the second and tattoo i've ever done, but they seem terrible in comparison to the work I do now ( I practice on honeydews and do an occasional skin tattoo) , but it's the only one I have pictures of. I am glad to know that I am not alone and there are several others out there just like me. I read up some on Asperger's Syndrome and realized that almost everything mentioned describes my personality and who I am. I hope that being here will help me better understand this condition.

I had that same experience: reading up on it and it was, like, reading a handbook to my mind. My past psychologists said so too (they didn't use the words AS, but according to my parents they didn't have a specific name for it, but it is definitely what they were talking about). Just learning other people have the same experiences is mind-blowing, isn't it?

I also had the experience, when reading up on AS, that it added some critical missing pieces to my puzzle. I plan to have myself checked out w/MRI to see if my baseline neurological configuration fits the diagnostic profile.

Yeah, I was diagnosed when I was about two or three years old, but I never knew what it was. I thought it was something kind of minor (like ADD, which I also have) but I never would've thought that it would affect my entire personality!
