Star Trek- Did it save the Trek franchise? No. It just dumbed it down... a lot.
Transformers- Move along! Nothing to see here!
Any CGI movie involving animals- Hollywood, please stop.

300: It's just a stupid war movie with nauseating CGI (I felt like I was going to throw up when I watched it).

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back: A movie about two of the most overused characters in cinema history (Jay really isn't that funny) who didn't deserve their own unfunny "comedy" movie.

The Scary Movie series and any other "... Movie": A bunch movie spoofs that tried way to hard to be funny, but ended up being bland, tasteless, and just not funny. There are better and funnier movie spoofs all over the internet.

Citizen Kane....
One of the best films of all time? I don't think so.
Even taking into account its age, it's still not as good as Metropolis or Nosferatu which are far older.

Gone with the Wind
What's it about? ...it's about 3 hours too long.

Closely Observed Trains
Yes, it's ok... but it's not a patch on the General.

Lawrence of Arabia
Yawn... get on with it.... A good story, an interesting man and a really bad editor... there's at least an hour of material that could be cut.

A top 100 list

Pirates of the Caribbean.

Don't bite me! I watched this film twice (because of Johnny Depp) and I don't understand what it's about. No idea.

I think a lot of action films are highly overrated. Especially the James Bond films, what's so great about watching a British sociopath blow things up and have sex with every woman he comes across?

I found this video on YouTube a while ago. Out of all the overrated movie lists that I have seen all across YouTube and many blogs, I feel that this was the most well thought out list of them all.

EDIT: I do, however, disagree with his number 1 choice.

I forgot about Ghost World. I hated Ghost World. I liked the Steve Buscemi character though, especially when he was on his rant about disc jockey patter. Listening to disc jockeys do their shtick makes me want to throw things. Also hated Wecome to the Doll House.

Catch Me if you Can

I remember hearing so much great stuff about that movie and when I saw it, I was like, "Really? That's it?" It's not that it was a bad movie, but the hype around it just made it vastly overrated.

pretty much any super-hero/comic book adaptation or Indie film on the current scene
