Mine were "Sailor Moon" and "Pokemon".

Macross, though back in the day there was a modified dub version (the one I knew) called Robotech. I barely remember it now, except for that cool pale fellow with glasses and blue hair who said something like "...we shouldn't jeopardise our own lives..." which was the first time I can recall hearing the word "jeopardise" in any context.

Speed is an anime so yes it would count. Probably for me before I knew about anime Pokemon and speed racer and digimon. But knowing about anime I would have to say Blackjack 21.

Mine was Pokemon, I even know the episode, it was the one where Ash whent to the school and took on the Lass with a Cubone. And I would say the first anime I saw to completion was probably Cardcaptors.

If it counts, Samurai Pizza Cats when I was about 6. I think anime never got as popular here in the Netherlands as it did in the US and elsewhere... I can remember that a German channel was airing Sailor Moon in the '90s, but I also remember that I experienced anime as being a very alien thing until it blew up and a little hype started at the beginning of this decade with the introduction of Pokémon and Dragon Ball on Dutch T.V.

Most anime series that aired on Dutch channels in the early 2000s were of the nature of Digimon, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh; usually merchandise-driven.
Shows like Evangelion, BGC, Ghost In The Shell SAC, I only know of from DVD releases; they never aired on our small screens, to the best of my knowledge.

speed racer as a child then dbz in junior high

the first thought-provoking one was Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on its first adult swim run, got me sort of back into anime. I've still only watched like 10 full series.

I'm not an anime fan at all. I've seen Ghost in the Shell and Great Teacher Onizuka.

Uh I don't know if it has the same name in your countries: "Kickers" (you remember Captain Tsubasa and co?)
Japanese: "Gambare Kikkazu"

I know it's quite unusual for a girl but I loved it!

I wasn't older than 5 when I watched it...
then Moomins, Sailormoon etc.

If partial, then my first ever exposure to anime was the last 40 minutes of "Unico" on the Disney channel when I was 12.

If complete, then it would be the god awful dub of Sailor Moon on American television.

The first anime I watched was Pokemon when it first came out and I still watch it.
