Any one here write? I'd like to read anything someone with Asperger's might write. I myself write fanfiction. Anyone else interested in writing? Especially if they create fictional worlds/societies. I find such things fascinating.

Yes, but no one gets to read what I write until I deem it acceptably polished, and almost nothing I write makes the grade.

Now I'm in the process of throwing out everything I've ever written. I have tossed out five garbage bags full of looseleaf and notebooks, and I have two in my room that need to go but are too heavy to lift. When I get the energy, I'll separate them into smaller bags and toss those, too. Then there's two boxes in the garage, and two USB thumb drives to wipe, and it's done.

I can't stand the weight and bulk of all my failed writing cluttering up my life anymore. Maybe one day I'll write again, and I'll finally get a novel published, but before that happens, everything that didn't work has to go.

I love to write, and I'm pretty good at it. However, I don't write all that much, because I have trouble coming up with full stories. I can write a really great little scene, but making a full story that actually goes anywhere is more of a challenge. I can create characters and scenery, but I'm not sure what to make them DO.

Alright! I write. I write fanfiction, scenes, vignettes, scripts and books (attempts anyway). I've never been published, but I have had my work read on the radio and performed on the high school stage.

I'm mostly a comedy writer. A silly one. I haven't written anything in... days. But I can share some of my writing with you next time I come up with something I think is worthy of human eyes.

Wrote and produced radio commercials for three decades. Working on a novel now (which would be finished already if I could clear the DRAMA out of my RL). Nobody gets to read that, though, not because its unfinished or still in draft stage, but because I'm paranoid about plagiarism. Everyone can read it when its published. Note my optimistic WHEN. :D

I'm a writer. It's always been somewhat annoying that I can write well, but stumble on spoken word.

I was reading Stephen King in middle school, and started listening to Rush around the same time, so I was very influenced by intelligent and creative thought. I could never really craft a story very well, but I can come up with great ideas for them. Mostly, I write poetry and rants. Well, I haven't written anything in a while now. Haven't had much inspiration these days.

I write. In college I took at least two creative writing courses. I still have those stories and am somewhat proud of them. One day, a girl from one of those classes came up to me while I was waiting in line for food and complimented my writing. I was speechless and just stared at her with a blank expression. She turned away from me rather abruplty and never spoke to again. I showed her! I think that may have gone to my head and I began thinking to myself, "I am a writer, no one understands me!" I remember the summer after that I traveled from America to Europe with my parents and wandered around London and Paris with my notebook and pen waiting for inspiration to come to me. I am pretty sure that inspiration was no different that it ordinarily had been. I had a knee high stack of notebooks, journals and loose papers that I had filled up and gathered them up, ripped them into little pieces and through them away. Now I generally write journal type material, parts of which are my observations that I hope to someday develop into full stories.

After I wrote my previous quote, I re-read the title of this thread and chuckled. It could have easily been understood to mean graffiti writers. I was once a mediocore 'writer' who generally enjoyed the scenery that graffiti drew me into. Abandoned building, factories, train lines, live tunnels, the side of highways!! ! Places I never have dreamed going were it not for that purpose. That imagry fueled most of the writing I mentioned in the previous post. In some of the stories I wrote the descriptive scenery would, at times, overcome whatever there was of a plot. I was a writer writing about 'writing'! !!

Count me as a writer. I mainly write anything of the occasion, but they're weird. Not disgustingly weird, but like "Why didn't I think of that!" weird.

As for inpirations I mostly draw from life experiences and concepts from other books. If I draw inspiration from concepts of other books then I make it my own by making a variation of it and adding my own ingredients. In other words, I don't want to become another Christopher Paolini.

You can find my stories at fanfiction.net. I post under the same name I have here. I write Benny & Joon stuff and did a couple fanfictions on 101 Dalmatians and one on 102 Dalmatians. I also decided to rip on Barney and do one on South Park making fun of AS. I did one on Mozart and the Whale combining it with Benny & Joon.

I used to write a lot of poetry... much of it was very bizarre/morbid or somewhat depressing... usually with a glimmer of hope in the end :P My grandmother always loved it for some reason-tried to get some of it published for me at one point.

I've never made up my own little world in writing, but I have made up a lot of codes to keep outsiders OUT and my friends close, lol. Guess I could write something about that one day...

I write fiction fantasy. Although I haven't ever finished any of my stories.
My latest story is about an Australian 8 year old boy with HFA/ select mutism. It's not fantasy though. I really hope I can get a lot of the story done.

I tend to write lyrics and poetry but love to delve into prose now and again too.
Its how I convey my emotions really and has helped me with my aspergers on the whole.

Oh, yeah. When I moved to a small town in Northern California, I knew that I would be noticed, and prepared myself to be pronounced the village idiot. Things didn't quite turn out that way. I became involved by volunteering, and much of the service I donated involved writing.

Over these past seven years, I've earned a reputation for my ability to put things to words. Just this year I've rewritten correspondences to sharpen the focus and composed a grant proposal. Last night I wrote a letter to the editor. I don't go much for long pieces anymore, unless you count my wordspray on this forum.

Many years ago I wrote the first 10,000 words of a novel. It dug deeply into me, took me places I wasn't ready to go, and I ended up in a mental hospital. It was the first step in the journey that took me to where I am now. Asperland.

Here in my small town, they call me Wordsmith. Beats Idiot by a long shot.
