I'm curious how Aspies/HFA, and those undiagnosed or even NT's, tend to score on this? I thought it was a little different than the other IQ tests:

It is interesting. I scored a 112, but i was doing them in order instead of hopping around (i hate hopping around, quirk of my version of AS).

Well, I scored a 105 on this, while my measured combined IQ score (on a real test administered by a psychologist) is 137. I have NLD however, and this test was heavily mathematically and spatially oriented (except for the wonderfully easy categories section). 105 is actually pretty close to my perceptual-organizational index (the nonverbal index) on the real IQ test I took, though. If it were a verbal test, I would probably have scored about 40 points higher, more in line with my verbal IQ. Stupid nonverbal reasoning tasks that I suck at.

I had done stacks of those online IQ tests a few years ago and that is probably another mediocre one. I just found the scores varied wildly from say 80 to 145 so I do not bother with them any more.

YOUR RESULTS

Your Calculated I.Q. score is ( 83 )! !!
That means your IQ rating is Borderline Average.

Some important stats to consider

The average I.Q. of all people whom have taken this test so far is "100"
Your score is higher then 13% of the people whom have taken this test!

The test took you 1218 seconds to complete
You have guesses 0 % of the test answers
You have previously seen 53 % of the test questions

7220 People have taken this test so far!

My result are quite bad... That's my problem, I appear very smart, but I'm not "that smart" a least according to the tests. :(
(I talking also about some profesionnaly administered tests here...)

Can someone explain me what the questions 21 and 23 are about pleeeease

Au fait, tu est un francophone TheDuck? Moi aussi!! ! :bounce:.

My score came out at 80.

I think this was partly because I put "guess" next to my answers... I thought if I put that I knew the answers (because I'd worked them out) they would think I remembered the answers. The instructions weren't clearly worded.

Of course, another reason is that this was mainly maths and spacial, and I'm rubbish at those tests.

Still... I'm beginning to think I have two brains... one which is incredibly smart, and the other which lives to destroy and sabotage me. Since I've been on this forum I've taken several online IQ tests, and my results range from high 140s to below 80, depending on the test.

Does anyone have a reliable IQ test, that measures different aspects of intelligence, and does a break down so that you can see where your valleys and peaks are?

The Wechsler is all about that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wechsler_Adult_Intelligence_Scale It's quite popular among the professionals.

I got 84 - borderline average. :(

Im sure I'm brighter than that or I'd not be able to hold down my science job......I noticed that it was helpful to have pencil and paper to hand (which I didn't initially), and contained a lot of those silly "find the next number in the sequence" questions for which I have very little aptitude. I strongly suspect that the test results could be improved a lot by a bit of careful training. And I felt a strong urge to just stop doing the test.....some of the questions were fun, but a lot of them were just a pain in the butt. I probably have the wrong attitude.

I ran out of time.....I'm a slow and deliberate thinker and I'm not used to having to think so quickly. 20 minutes isn't enough time, I'd barely looked at a lot of the questions. Some of the instructions would have taken me a good few minutes to fathom, they didn't seem at all clear at first reading. The whole thing felt like a rush job, with the time on the cursor continually reminding me of the deadline and getting in the way of my using it as a pointing device. I suspect there are some visual issues that are nothing to do with intelligence.....the whole thing tried to be too flashy and the effect just got on my nerves.

I thought the question "how many bullets were at the top of the page?" was hilarious - I couldn't even recall seeing any bullets. Naturally.....I was trying to focus on the test, and with such time constraints it wasn't logical to notice the scenery. It could be argued that getting that question right was indicative of a sloppy, unfocussed mind (present company excepted of course).

84

I answered all of the block ones with "known", and all of the pig-cat-dog-hamster ones with "known". I drew a blank on all of the others (I didn't guess).

Well, the Weschler one was far more comprehensive.

Apparently my verbal, general knowledge, etc are between 148 and 160, whereas my spatial and sequencing were 81 and 65 respectively. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the maths... 127.

I think my extreme dyspraxia might be bringing my over all scores down. 132 isn't too bad though for an overall score.
