hey guys my hp is an a744x hp pavillion desktop I lost my driver disk and i need my sound drivers. Can anyone give me a direct link to one? it would be greatly appriecated.

You need to know what sound card you're using. You can install a standard set of audio drivers that comes with Windows, but it's best to install ones specific to your card. If you go into Device Manager, you can check what sound card you're using. You can then either search for a replacement on the internet, or check if Windows has a compatible set of drivers for it.

check HP's website and see if they have the driver on there. If not they'll atleast be able to tell you who manufacture's the card so you can down the driver from the manufacturer's site.
