Jumbo shrimp fried in Italian extra virgin olive oil. Testing the smoke point of the oil.
There are counterfeit olive oils out there but I got it from Stew Leonards, an upscale grocery store for CT/NY.
Their house brands are pretty good.
A bottle lasts a long time so it makes sense to use it for everything from seasoning to frying.
