I've been dealing with the Winter Blues, for a couple of weeks, now. We've gotten so much Rain, in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. We've broken the record for the most Rainy Days. I haven't been able to get around on my Foot that well, until recently. I've had to miss a couple of Saturday Outings with my Clubhouse, because of it. I've been dealing with the Month After Christmas Blues, between January 23rd and 27th. Minor things have been getting on my nerves. Valley Talk grating on my Nerves. Maybe a towel was folded the wrong way. A feeling that the only person in the house who understands me, is my Dog...oh, yeah...he's a Dog, not a person. I've overslept on a few Mornings, last week. I've been feeling tired to the point that I've had to take a Nap, for three days in a row. Even with the Oversleeping, I've needed to take Naps. I make sure that the Naps are only 45 Minutes long. I've gained a couple of Lbs, while I was resting my Foot and eating the right foods. It's even gotten to the point, where I've had a Tantrum, on this same Forum, this Morning. I'm usually Jolly, but I'm Witchy, right now. What's happening to me?

That sounds like seasonal depression. There are some treatments, but the only one I can think of is a vacation. Perhaps you could take some money alotted for your trip to London, and take a trip to San Diego? 8) (Avoid LA like the plague ;) )

Turn on all the lights. Get 100 watt bulbs. Buy extra lamps. Spend time outside when it's brightest. Hopefully the winter will pass and you'll feel better.

My doctor has me on Wellbutrin because of it -- I live far enough north that the shortest day of the year gives us slightly less than seven hours of daylight. So I go to work in the dark, I go home in the dark...
