Ok, my apartment is like the city dump. I've taken some photos as evidence. If I had kids the HRS would take them away!

I haven't got any pictures, but my room is a pretty big mess because it just doesn't bother me. There's no food, but on my floor there are the following: my entire wardrobe, books, papers, candy wrappers, pens, boxing gloves, athletic tape (both used and waiting to be used), wrapping paper, boxes from Amazon.com, some city, state and country maps, and a back pack.

On my desk there are more books, more papers, more pens, my lightsaber, some birthday and christmas gifts, and a cell phone charger. On the bookshelves are books, DVDS and videos, Mark Rothko paintings, a stereo system, lots of dust, a big box where I keep every battery in the house, and some cat treats. On my dresser are my Taekwondo belts and certificates of advancement. In my dresser are clothes I got for Christmas and birthdays but never wear (because some people never learn--no matter how long you've been around them--that certain clothes are just plain uncomfortable), more books, more papers, some video , my airsoft gun, some pine boards for strating various breaking techniques, and dust. The only things hanging up in their proper place are my jedi robe, my Taekwondo uniform, and my hockey jersey. Oh yeah, and my bed isn't made. Ever. I don't see the point. And somewhere in my room is my cell phone...

The rest of the house is spotless because that's how my mom is. Every once in a while I will suffer a fit of cleanliness and kind of put everything away where I think it should go (which is why only I can find things in my room), but I usually just stop once I find what I'm looking for, or when I can see the carpet.

I don't mind the mess as long as my Legos are lined up and in their precise spots on the shelf.

I don't have as much trash lying around but as for the level of sanitation, we're about the same. NeantHuman can no doubt attest to that since he's seen my place.

It's funny, but my mice cages are WAY cleaner than my own apartment.

When I lived with my ex, our apartment looked like that and it drove me CRAZY! There was less trash lying around, but it was still extremely cluttered. I am one of those people who gets overloaded by messes and things out of order, and I can't stand a dirty kitchen/dining room.

Wow... Uhm, how can you live like that? You'd never know where anything was, and never have any space to do anything in, and... and...

I wish I were that laid-back--My room looks like somebody with OCD lives in it, mostly because if my room isn't clean, nothing (i.e., homework) gets done.

By the way the voting is going I think Im dumb. I chose "You are... Cleaner then me." What I thought that meant was that Im cleaner. Now either we have a lot of messy people here (which is not what the replies suggest) or can I just not read?

Edit: I guess is that you a you as in thread starter or you as in replier?

I was writing as if I was actually talking. It's in first-person.

I am saying: YOU [the reader] are . . . cleaner/messier than ME [lowfreq50].

Let's put it this way. You know how people talk about coming "out of the closet"? Well, my closet is so full of junk I'd have to come out of somebody else's.

This is the part of the house I let people see.

About the same as me; I clean the apartment fully every week and am not generally messy.
