Before diagnosing with autism or Asperger syndrome I have had cyatinuria ( it is a rare inherited disorder 1:15000),which causes kidney stones .At first I looked at my inabilities in socialization as a discrete disorder, but after some searches I reached to this point that cystiuria can easily affect normal life. psychomotor retardation incomprehensible speech ,hypotonia are associated with cystinuria.also new investigations show that cystine has a great role in autism. but I can’t find the exact correlation . Does anyone here know that Metabolic Inborn errors can result autism or not?

There has been a link between many rare or uncommon genetic disorders and autism spectrum disorders. This much they know about.
