Now I used to be affected by aspergers syndrome anymore. I progressed so idc. Now I used to be kindve "open" bout it. But people treated me a little bit differently not because I was socially awkward or anything, NOOOOO just because I have it. So I figured if it doesn't affect me to the extend that people don't have the slightest idea that I have it (which is how it is), why tell in the first place? So I will only tell close friends/ppl i trust. So today in my sister's history class the subject was brought up. My sister (only 1 grade under me) told that I have aspergers syndrome. Big no no. Why? Even though she didn't use my name, I know a lot of ppl in her grade (damn freshmen) and so does she. So as you all know, stuff goes around high schools fast. The big problem is that when it comes back to me, it's not AS that they think I have, it's full on autism!

You could always deny it, but yeah >.> That kinda sucked for her to do that without telling you.

They should learn to differ.

Have you talked to your sister? She might not have realized what she did.

Just go with it and behave like you normally would. It has happened, have peace with it and make the best of it. Most people will probably forget in no-time anyway.

That was horrible of your sister to do -- have you talked to her about it?

I agree with those who are saying to try just to forget about it as far as people at school go. If they couldn't tell before, they'll forget about it pretty quickly.

I wouldn't worry about that, my little sister did the same to me, she has always been my biggest advocate

Yeah that would suck! Idk what you would do but I'd just say "Autism? No! Asperger's? Yes! What is that you ask? Look it up! Now i'm busy! You're an idiot! Have and nice day!" I don't have to worry about that with my sister since we've both be diagnosed with AS. I'm the ADHD, OCD, Social skills suck type and she's the Anxiety, Depression, but Social to an extent type.
