I was looking up "Asperger Syndrome" on www.urbandictionary.com and one of the definitions said this:

A fake disorder invented so that angsty teens with no personality or social skills could feel like they belonged to something. Symptoms include mediocre artistic and web design skills, affection for emo, self-pity.Bob told me he had Asperger's Syndrome, but in reality, he was just socially ret*d.

F***ING DUMB ASSES!PEOPLE LIKE THAT DESERVE TO BE SHOT!! !! !! !! !! !!

I just read some of the other definitions: WTF is wrong with these ignorant people? Don't they have something better to do than insult people that have a disorder that they obviously know NOTHING about?

I think that person was trying to be "funny"... maybe.
That dictionary isnt really the most accurate.
Actually, there are groups of psychiatrists/psychologists who do believe that AS in not related to autism, and it is not a "real disorder", just a coincidence of personality symptoms basically. It's an opinion, and they are allowed to have one, but most of the evidence is against them.
Still, one needs disagreement. Spices life.

The writer of that `definition` was probably the sort that bully AS kids at school.
Woe and Betide anyone I catch undermining AS or Autistic kids in the real world... :x

That person must've seen that Dr. Phil episode...

I'm actually not as upset over the definition itself as I am over the fact that 127 people gave it a thumbs up.

I have re - defined it but I have had to put it under Autism as the urban dictionary.com web server will not let me use the word 'Asperger Syndrome.'

Unfortunately, there will always be those people who think a particular disorder is made up or an excuse. I think it is just plain cruelty and possibly even jealousy that we can do things that they can't, so they have to discredit us to make themselves feel good. :(

I can never appreciate people who try to make themselves feel better by making others miserable. How low as a person do you need to be to get a serious kick from insulting another's way of life? Disagreement is fine but out right abuse isn't.
