Hello I wanted to know if anybody watches Degrassi

There is a character that has Asperger's name Conner but the problem is that they dont really talk about his story that much

do anybody think that they should have more story line for Connor

I use to watch Degrassi TNG in its earlier seasons.....but not much of the later seasons. How is the portrayal of AS on the show? I remember being thoroughly unimpressed with Boston Legal's portrayal of AS.

I love Degrassi! I've been watching since Kids of Degrassi Street. However, due to being busy with family and never remembering when it's on to pvr it, I haven't seen a lot of the more recent TNG episodes. I *did* see the one where Connor got his diagnosis. Interestingly, I was filling out screening questionnaires for my daughters when it was on. I didn't catch the very beginning, but when he freaked over his pencil I totally thought of him as being an Aspie.

I do think it should play a part in a future episode, but not having seen it in forever, I can't really comment on what treatment it already gets, if any.

I think the quality of the writing and acting and Degrassi has gone down by a lot but I can't stop watching it >.< I like the way that JJ in Skins is represented more.

I am a huge fan of Degrassi, but I think the show has gone downhill since season five or six. Most of the characters who were present at the beginning of the show are no longer there, leaving an entire new cast of characters, so it's like it's a completely different show. Nevertheless I still watch it, because I'm addicted.

I did see the episode in which Connor is revealed to have AS. But I'm disappointed that it was the only episode where the storyline revolved around him. He is essentially a background character. I would like to see more episodes focusing on him.
