Oooohhhh. I would love to go to medieval Spain, during Isabella I's reign. Possibly around the time she conquered Granada. Possibly also I'd like to visit the Ottoman Empire. During the Reign of the Favored Women. I wouldn't want to be one of the favored women, though. You have to sleep with the sultan and all that. I'd much rather simply be one of the princesses.

Why back? I know what happened then! I want to go forward!...;)

Say 50 years, so hopefully they've fixed a few medical conditions I have to deal with...

I'd like to travel back to the days of Swinging London and Carnaby Street, when The Kinks had most of their hits. 1964 - 1966.

Kinky times topic

Oh, CR, I lived through that time. Been there, done that.

Besides, the big thing was The Beatles. Few bothered with The Kinks, as they were not as popular. Personally, I liked Eric Burdon and The Animals, or Jerry and The Pacemakers and Herman's Hermits. Jeez, I feel old. :P

You had to be very skinny like Twiggy or voluptuous like Petula Clark to get noticed by these Rockers. Otherwise, the fans were just a nuisance. :(

I like Pakled's suggestion. Let's all run to the Future. Going back would just be frustrating, as you could not change what had happened.

In other words, the 60s weren't all they were cracked up to be.

Let's go to the future instead, than. 8)

The eighties, for the sole purpose of getting laid by Molly Ringwald.

the mid 60's. Machines were awsome, A factory 500 plus Hp rated, mustang that was making close to 700 hp on the dyno. Rated low to be insurable.

Those were the golden years of the muscle car.

If i could i would go back to 1999-2002 cuz i would be able to play all of my old ps1 games they where awsome Oh and also have a chat to my young self and tell him the world you see is not the world everyone else sees! honestly if i look back at how confused i was when i was young i would have been amused by my actions aswell but one thing is for sure i was very very happy during that time period i wanna go back!! now :(

"I wish I knew what I know now, when I was younger" - Rod Steward in a song of which I don't know the title. (I just had to throw that in the for some reason)

I wanna be downtown Phoenix at the Phoenix Memorial Coliseum in (I forget which year) on a night that Zeppelin had played here. My ex-girlfriend's mother told me a story about the chairs on the arena floor being thrown into a pile and lit up into a bonfire.
Magic. Pure f***in' rock n' roll magic.

But in general any time period a while before this one would be good enough. What with all the s**t going on.

I would love to visit to the 80's and eventually grow up there and get a girlfriend, apparently, they are much more decent compared to the ones of today.

By the time i'm born, I could at least save myself from getting dropped as a baby, wonder if that would make any difference?

(I was 13 in 1963 and a passionate, thrilled and estatic Beatlemania, then I fell in love with the music of the Stones, but the Kinks had their own beat altogether!)
