I pulled this movie out of my DVD collection yesterday and watched it.

I think Bill Murray's performance of a person in a very different culture (Japan) is a good portrayal of how I feel among 'normal' people most of the time.

Murray's face during this and other parts of the movie is one of utter confusion. (Although it should be noted that he is quite badly jet-lagged at the start of the movie)

I really enjoyed the movie, from this fresh perspective.

:D

I'm very fond of this film myself. My favourite perspective is at the beginning where you get to see Scarlett Johansson's backside  .

I just saw this movie for the first time recently, and I completely agree. There is this cloud of tired sadness always around him, which I feel most of the time too.
