I did! I had dino books, lots of toys, and drew them a lot! XD I pretended I was a dinosaur like, 50% of the time. I liked carnivorous ones. I still like them a lot.

That was one, if not the very first, of my obsessions. I think the reason I was so good at spelling in my elementary years was because I was trying to work out words like "pachycephalosaurus" when I was like 2-3 years old

I probably knew more about paleontology at age 5 than I do now, and I all but refused to wear any shirts that didn't have dinosaurs on them until I was like 7, when my parents refused to buy any more and I couldn't physically fit my old ones over my head any longer.

Yea, I was super hard core

YES!
My personal favourite, however, was Deinonychus. :)

Man, I had this HUGE book about Dinosaurs, like, 2.5 inches thick that my grandmum got me. And it was in 3D! It had the groovy glasses. It was so great.

Cmon dude dimetrodon's not even a dinosaur

I still remember when I found that out, I was crushed and terribly confused, and most likely cried.

It's a shame too, since it would have been the coolest dinosaur ever; however, I'm still holding it above all of the prehistoric creatures.

Whatever, it's prehistoric, reptilian, and large. I say it's a dino :P.

It's OLDER than dinosaurs, and I think it's more closely related to mammals than reptiles (although could be wrong on that). KazigluBey is on-point, it's even better than dinosaurs :)

Dinosaurs were one of my earliest obsessions too. I don't remember much about that time in my life, however.

What I do remember is that I loved The Land Before Time movies, and I often read books about dinosaurs and pretended to be one along with my brother. :)

I used to know so much about dinos. I had toys, movies, and games on them. Dinos got me into Pokemon (Charizard) I loved the T-rex's because they were so tall and fierce! Thats what I wanted to be like at that age.

I, too, think that dino's were my first special interest...that I remember.....well no I take that back. My first was chef borladee ravioli. I refused to eat anything but that for about a year when I was 3-4. Until my mom was worried about nutrition, she then stopped buying it. But, when I was between 5-8 years old, it was all about those big crazy lizards. When I first discovered that such creatures existed, I was amazed...and wanted to know as much as I could possibly learn. When I was 9, my interests shifted to jungle animals and the rainforests. But even today, I am in heaven watching a national geographic special on the natrual world...now and then.

Dinosaurs were probably my first major interest too!
I had a few dinosaur books and dinosaur toys.
However, all my dinosaur books featured pretty much the same dionsaurs: tyrannosaurus rex, brontosaurus, pterodactyl, stegosaurus, triceratops, brachyosaurus and diplodocus.
(I don't think I could even name any others without looking them up.)

I was very into dinos as a kid. I still like them.
My favourite among those good old reptiles has always been the Stegosaurus.
Followed by Brontosaurus (yes I know they're not called that anymore, but they're still Brontos to me), Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Dimetrodon and Ichtyostega in varying/no particular order.

I didn't pretend to be a dino as a kid. I just wanted to know everything about them, collect my faves and dream about seeing them.

Yes! I used to be able to name loads of them. I had toys, read books, was utterly obsessed.

I was going to say the same thing, it seemed like every kid I went to school with was in love with dinosaurs...especially after the Jurassic Park movie came out.
