Even barring sociopolitical/ideological differences, I rather resent him being referred to as my king when I wasn't alive when he was. It's like calling Abraham Lincoln our president. Furthermore, I wouldn't have voted for him.
King Arthur: You don't vote for kings! I know, obvious joke, but I just couldn't resist.
And if Jesus is our absolute superior, then I'd like to see Jesus arm-wrestle Herakles. All kidding aside, I don't like the way you seem to be implying that having Asperger's is better than being neurotypical. That's just the first step before deciding that neurotypical people should be segregated from us, and then it's a hop, skip, and a jump away from practicing genocide. Have you learned nothing from the past travesties of humanity?
Kind, sincere, truthful, and generous, is he? Well I'll give you that, but I'm sure the Romans took more issue with his blasphemy (I.e., claiming to be the son of God) than they did with his giving fish and bread to people. Basically, he broke the laws of the land and was punished for it. Civil disobedience should be acceptable in any civilized society, but come on, this is circa 20 AD Rome we're talking about here.
the romans only cared about the fact that he was a threat to their order and control over people. other than that, they didn't care about religion or what those crazy jews were saying. the religious leaders in the area were the ones who had jesus put to death....the romans just allowed it to keep the people in order...hence pontius pilot washing his hands of the situation....because jesus didn't do anything wrong by roman law.
he was a threat to the religious hierchy of the time and that's what got him killed.
kinda like bill hicks. except jesus could never pull off the smoking jokes since he really couldn't get lung cancer.
