I think there are bits of me in quite a few movie characters.

Christian Slater's portrayal of Mark Hunter in 'Pump up the Volume' is pretty close to who I am.

Mark goes to High School during the day (where he is barely able to put a sentence together) and broadcasts a one-man pirate radio station (as Hard Harry) at night.

When my story goes to the big screen, I would want Chris to play my character.

Edward Scissorhands - Shy, misunderstood, artistically inclined, sweet but can get angry/jealous at times. I'm not as quiet as he is though - I actually talk an awful lot.

Hmmm.
I would say Darth Maul. A loner who is quite intelligent, but tends to remain mostly silent. Like him, I am methodical and obsessive, but unfortunately I also share his traits of impatiance and having a one-track mind. We both tend to mostly avoid contact with others (outside the few who we are loyal to) unless its neccesary.

To be more precise, it is as if I am the 'good guy' version of him, but without the traits of being a Zabrak, male, or a Force-Sensitive. Oh yeah, and not being evil

Will Hunting. Althought not quite as "good", and not quite as smart, it's a pretty close match. When the movie first came out, I had a handful of different people I knew, come up to me and tell me that I must go see it, because it reminded them of me, so much. It was rather flattering, once i actually saw the movie.

:D

I second that other than the fact that I generally prefer to use my brain instead of my brawn, to make a point.

I definitely identify with that character and thanks for mentioning him.

Cool. 8)

It fit me, in that i was the freaky-smart kid(in my classmates eyes) that was part of the group of thugs in town. I was never into fighting,(small town, not much violence) but have been into my share of trouble, for sure.LOL

Cadet Hayes from the X-Files episode "Release".

His mannerisms and demeanour are uncanny in their similarities to me.
