Hi, I am a newcomer here. I found the site through a google search when I entered the words, "husband has aspergers". Found the link to the books and I just ordered five different titles for wives of Aspies.

My husband is diagnosed with ADD (not hyperactive type). We've been together about ten years and things haven't been going very well. I have thought for years now that he was actually dealing with Aspergers. A couple of different therapists have also confirmed this suspicion. His psychiatrist says "NO WAY" but that doesn't threaten my opinion...LOL... I am a licensed clinical social worker and have a great working knowledge of differential diagnosis.

I'm looking forward to finding some support here. We are kind of at the end of our rope.

No children (we both have grown kids).

Well, that's enough for now, I have a lot of reading to do!
