Love love love clothes from the 60s & 70s. Peasant blouses and Mexican wedding dresses are my favorites!

I love 1940's vintage clothing and accessories - the whole style period, really. I like how it's perfectly tailored and fitted among other things. To me it's the most beautiful style.

1960's mod style is cool too, but the 40's "suits" me the best :)

You're welcome : ) I just found a retro bathing suit on the second site and it's so adorable - expensive though. But I love it! It's a black 1950's style 2 piece with cherries on it.

Oh, nice. Thanks :)

It's funny because I normally don't like prints (I find them too busy and garish), so me liking the cherry bathing suit was actually an anomaly. Usually the most print I can stand on clothing is a small pin dot (tiny polka dot pattern) or stripes, subtle plaid or glen check.

I love it, but most of it doesn't really suit me, I'm afraid - I dress too tomboyish. However, I did make myself a vintage-style swimsuit after I went shopping for a new one and was appalled with the cuts available. Why are they all either tiny or dowdy? And why exactly must one's butt be flapping out all the time? So I made myself a one piece with little boy-short legs and a low pointed back with shoulder straps that crossed across the shoulder blades and attached under the bust to hold everything in. It's so cool, though I do say so myself. :D Swimsuits from the Sixties were the BEST!
