I like to geocache. Its a great solo sport, and gives you a lot of exercise.

I have been wanting to try that for a long time.

I also really want to do this but I don't have a gps device. There are also only about half a dozen spots in my city and I don't have access to other places. I wish I had a local friend with a car and a gps who would geocache with me, it would be really fun.

I did this once at camp, but it was late in the day and I was dragging 3 kids around with me, so I only hit half of the points. I have a GPS, but it is designed primarily for vehicles, and the battery doesn't seem to last long on its own. I wonder if there is a Geocaching enthusiast's page.

i used to do it alot, before my father got MS. I can say though within 10 miles of where I live, there are EASILY at least 100 of caches. Its what I get for living in the mountainous forests of pennsylvania though.
