Hi I'm Gary Wayne

I got diagnosed around November 2009, after like 1 thousend different ways to cope with my learning disabilities, and then a quick comment from a Special Ed. Superviser, saying some thing like "Have you even looked at the possibility of Autisum?" to my parents and a long discussion if it would be benifical if i was diagnosed. Here I am diagnosed with Asperger's.

Well has anyone ever started to go really deep into something while you are thinking, and the words start to get out of control and do a colision course in your head? Just want to know because it really causes everything the become overstimulative very quickly. If you have any sugestions please post.

No... but I do have mega-powerful (overwhelming) thoughts / emotions... and sometimes, it overloads, and I'll blurt out _exactly what_ I'm thinking. people are probably thinking wtf?! on those rare occasions.

But its okay to talk to yourself, as long as you don't interrupt. 8O

Thank you for the warm welcome. And I have hope to meet more people.

Because there is one other autistic person that I know, I even took her to prom, and she kind of stood me up.

Oh, crap i'm losing it i for got to mention about my cousin Michal hes further down the spectrum (by what i was told), and the reason i was looked at in the first place, becase after the "norm" split from the "different" at about 6-8 grade for me, i "seemed" to have developed behaviors similar to Michal's behaviors i had no idea i had "changed", i just thouht everyone else just was acting different.

That's not nice... but sometimes, Aspie gals have been known to change their mind at the last moment. Try to forgive her...

Yeah i do forgive her! but it isn't easy because i wasn't diagnosed with Asperger's till this "School year", i took her last school year to prom. So some people either think it rubbed off on me, or that autisum is contagious or something like that and i am somewhat more alienated then before so i have somewhat mixed emotions about the whole thing.

It just turned into a mess. (She asked me and my parents made me feel bad till i said i would take her, they wanted me to go anyway but knew i wouldn't unless i had some kind of waight to it, and I didn't want to go because of the noise and the crowd.)

I sometimes find it impossible, on certain days, to even complete a sentence. I usually just try to take a quick walk to clear my head, but it doesn't always work.
If you find a solution, let me know!

I did have a similar situation a few years back. My solution was only partial, but it did help me through some tough times:
Get an iPod, get some up-tempo music. Get expensive full-range ear buds -- not the cheap iPod plugs, but the kind you have to squeeze to put in your ears (so that you can turn it up to 11 and not be noticed). Turn iPod up to 11. Turn iPod off when head is clear.

Question for you: can you connect your PSP to iTunes?
My cousin who lives with my parents (it's complicated) has one, and I'm always trying to get him into music. He just won't use an iPod but his PSP is always with him. If there's some way I can interface that with his laptop, then maybe I can get him to start listening to some Podcasts and audio books. (He's wasting his life, and I don't want to see his potential at socializing just weather away like it has. I figure something with technology could provoke his passion.)

OK. I'll try that, thanks.
Also, I think I can just put the MP3 files right on the PSP. I'm guessing it's not as easy as with iTunes, but maybe I can get it to work without a lot of effort.
