Hello readers! I made a blog entry a couple days ago, but I'll spread the word again.

Gordon is my name. 25 year-old guy figuring out what to do in the post-college world. Born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois (just outside of Chicago). Went to Triton College for Associate's, Genral Ed stuff, and transferred to Columbia College Chicago to earn my bachelor's with honors in Radio Broadcasting in May '09. Despite all the latest success, I'm still struggling in the real world.

I am an Aspie and was diagnosed this past April. It's been a thorn in my side for most of my life. The inability to fit in a crowd, lack of comunication, carrying on a conversation, and other similar traits. I am fortunate to have friends from my childhood, but want to make more. I am also fortunate to have acquaintances that follow me every now and then. This is something I just need to learn and how to adjust.

So that's my basic intro for now. Once again, Hello WrongPlanet people!

Not sure my Dad was Aspergers, but he sure had the solemn/sober traits... didn't get out socializing much. He was *big* on radio/communications and earned an advanced lisence from the FCC. A lot to tell about him, and I admired him. He knew morse code, how to set up satellite receivers, HAM Radio, one of the first involved in the Bulletin Board systems thru telephone/modem (before the internet). He didn't talk a lot, but he was one of the most educated experts in Radio Broadcasting / Communications. The college asked him to teach electronics, but he declined due to his schedule. I really miss him. Interesting field you chose.

Hi, Gordon. I'm a native Chicagoan, born on the south side by the UC Medical Center. Always good to talk with other Chicagoans. Welcome to WP and hope all goes well with you.
