Man flu is a derogatory slang term meaning having a mild flu and complaining excessively about it.

So called because men supposedly complain a lot over small stuff..

Ah, and here I thought is was the illness that comes after a break-up, where the sight of a man makes one want to puke.

Ah, and here I thought is was the illness that comes after a break-up, where the sight of a man makes one want to puke.

That was the impression I'd gotten too. And I would have added that the cure is sometimes worse than the illness.

I think it might have been one of those random outbursts that Aspies are supposed to be prone to...

Haha! I thought 'manflu' was another one of those terms meaning you've got a crush on someone...and that you could also have womanflu too!

Maybe the OP is being hit on by someone basically repulsive to her/him.

[I wish gender were designated with the number of posts... it would make using pronouns so much simpler ]
