Here are my top 25 favorites:

25. Green Day--This is the band that got into punk music for a short while. Plus, they are the best (and only) pop punkers on this list.
24. George Michael--He's also on my gulity pleasure list, but he did make some catchy songs during his run on the charts from his time in WHAM! to his solo days.
23. Led Zeppilin--Rock purists are going to have my head on a platter for this because I ranked them so low.
22. U2--My sister gives me crap that I said I claimed to sing like Bono. In some ways, he did inspire me to sing. As for the rest of the band, they changed the sound of rock music in the '80s, '90s, and beyond.
21. Pearl Jam--The first of many Seattle bands on my list of favorites plus Eddie Vedder has the best deep singing voice this side of Barry White.
20. Pink Floyd--Their music is mellow yet real creepy which makes the band very interesting.
19. Eagles--My brother-in-law is going to give me alot of crap for NOT putting this band @ #1, but they deserved to be on my list of great bands.
18. Heart--The only female-led band to be on the list and Ann Wilson had the best singing pipes from a female I have ever heard. Plus, they're from Seattle!
17. Michael Jackson--Probably the best dancer and entertainer on this list.
16. Bruce Springsteen--One of the best storytelling rock stars to come out the scene. Personally, I think he's way better than Bob Dylan in that department.
15. Van Halen--Whether or not David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar is the lead singer, they are one of the most influental hard rock bands of their time.
14. N.W.A.--They are the Beatles of Gangsta rap. Plus the majority of the group went on to have great rap solo careers.
13. Elton John--During his five decades in music, he made the pop charts at least once.
12. Billy Joel--Another piano man made the list because the songs are so relatable.
11. Soundgarden--Although many of them considered this band grunge, they're not, they're the best heavy metal band in Seattle.

HERE'S THE TOP TEN:

10. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers--The most timeless rock band on this list.
9. AC/DC--The Austrailan rockers turned the world Down Under.
8. 2Pac--The most influental rapper in the history of music.
7. Metallica--One of the heaviest bands on the list.
6. Nirvana--The band that changed the '90s and Seattle forever.
5. Alice in Chains--IMO, the best band from Seattle period!
4. Guns N' Roses--The band that gave rock a kick in the ass that it needed in the late '80s.
3. Eminem--The best white rapper ever! He's also the last great rapper ever!
2. Def Leppard--Ever since I was six years old, they were among my favorite bands. Name another band that had so many problems yet are still together after all this time.

and the #1 favorite band of all-time is...

The Beatles--The most influental band of all-time and there are many reasons why.

Here are the honorable mentions:

Snoop Doggy Dogg
Foreigner
Stone Temple Pilots
Journey
Motley Crue
Public Enemy
KISS
Duran Duran
INXS
The Police/Sting
Jimi Hendrix
Beastie Boys
Fleetwood Mac
Depeche Mode
Bush
Smashing Pumpkins
Weird Al Yankovic (he's a parody artist though)
The Notorious B.I.G.
Queensryche
Rush

I hope you guys enjoy my list of my favorite bands and artists of all-time. Let me know what you think :-)

Do you post on IMDb? This is very similar to a post I saw on Music General.
