'Kids Say The Darndest Things' Host Linkletter Dies

Art Linkletter, who hosted the popular TV shows People Are Funny and House Party in the 1950s and 1960s, has died. He was 97.

His son-in-law Art Hershey said Linkletter died Wednesday at his home in the Bel-Air section of Los Angeles.

Everybody's Uncle Arthur topic

I was surprised to see this, as I thought he had died about five years ago.

I remember reading about his daughter's suicide. For a time people thought she was high on dope.

One of his fans was Bill Cosby, who resurrected his show about kids saying the darndest things in the late 80s.

I am also surprised the PM did not contact him to reinstate his Canadian citizenship before he passed. :P
