If he'd had no concept of "devil" or "devil possession" this might not have happened. I'm very reluctant to blame the drugs for this, but instead blame the person because people need to take responsibility for the things they enjoy and for their actions. Blaming the drugs is a copout.

Clinical death is the loss of brain function. So, while the loss of the heart means that death is inevitable, it is not the direct cause of death.
