Welcome Nicolas,
I'm CG artist although I have decided to work with mocap since I have a slight aversion to orcs and big weapons etc (and other normal games stuff) and don't want to work to closely with something I don't like.
Concept artist is a pretty cool job though.
Work very hard for it because there is a lot of competition.
(Fortunately I think it's the kind of job you get through talent and hard work and not connections).
